MOCK UP FOR DRONE

MOCK UPS FOR MATTE PAINTING

For my matte painting, I will change this idea and have a
burning hospital instead of a forest. I will do this, because
I feel that this will look more realistic.

MOCK UPS FOR OPENING TITLE SEQUENCE: DIGITAL STORYBOARD EXAMPLE

For my opening title sequence, I will change this idea and have
a series of images which are linked to technology instead of
having this flow of pixels. I will do this, because the way in which
I intended to edit this, the outcome isn't how I wanted.

Mise-en-scene
Camera work
sounds
In this scene, the protagonist (Mark) is walking around the forest area/ in the forest and he is scanning his surroundings with confusion constantly rattling in his head. He feels this sense of confusion because he can still here this unusual sound but cannot figure out what the sound is.
At this point, the camera is at ground level so only the atmosphere and Mark’s shoes are visible. The camera will be at this level so the audience can witness the pace of Mark’s movements. Also, the subject's face won’t be visible so the audience can feel a sense of curiosity within them as to what Mark is currently feeling.
Diegetic: The audience can hear the sounds of nature in this scene. Noises such as; Light breeze, wind ruffling the trees, birds chirping.

Non-Diegetic: There is no music in this scene, however, the sound of the drone is in this scene but it is off camera at first (This is the unusual noise which Mark hears). This will build more confusion within Mark because he considered the place to be very quiet and peaceful.

Mise-en-scene
Camera work
sounds
In this scene, the protagonist (Mark) is observing the building burning in flames more deeply. At first, he only had a small glance before being chased by a man, however now he is looking at the building in more depth with the hope he will receive answers from the questions which the drone didn’t answer. At this moment, he still feels confused, however also feels quite emotional because he wants to be able to help these people, however, he is helpless.
At this point, the camera is at ground level so only the atmosphere and Mark’s shoes are visible. The camera will be at this level so the audience can feel a sense of curiosity within them as to what Mark is currently feeling. Also, keeping Mark’s face hidden at this point can make the overall moment more suspenseful, which ensures the audience have their full attention on what is happening.
Diegetic: The audience can hear nothing at this point apart from the intensity of the wind increasing. This will be done to make the moment as realistic as possible.

Non-Diegetic: There is no music in this scene at this point, however, the screams of people from the building will be off stage at this point until the camera shows Mark viewing the building.
